MB Resource
MB Resource is a suite that allows users to interact via Cognos Report studio to book resources to given projects and tasks.
The simple point and click approach to allocate resource to a given task on a given date means that minimal user training is required.
As part of the suite you can immediately view who is booked where and when. It also ties into resource rates and project revenue data to allow you to view utilisation rates as well as profitability of the project plan. Resources can download their monthly itinerary, whilst project managers can have an overview of resource allocation.
FD’s will be able to view in real time the effect to the bottom line of activities.
All this sits within the Cognos Report Studio which allows you to leverage your in house report studio skills if additional analysis is required.
